Lois Griffin (nee Pewterschmidt) is the wife of Peter Griffin and mother of their three children Meg, Chris and Stewie. She lives in Quahog, Rhode Island. Lois was brought up in an extremely wealthy household with her sister, Carol. She has a long-lost older brother, Carl who was sent to a mental asylum after being revealed to be a serial killer. She met Peter when he worked as a towel boy for her aunt. Lois' father, can't stand Peter and makes nasty comments at every chance he gets. Lois is currently a housewife and full-time mother to Stewie. She is also a piano teacher on the side to the family.Lois is repeatedly shown to be into S&M, dressing as a dominatrix, putting out a cigarette on her arm, getting Peter to put his finger in a bullet hole on her arm and asking Peter to kick her in the breasts. She's also made it clear that she never wanted to be a mother. When she goes on Spring Break with Meg, she tells her that taking birth control pills and anti-biotics cancelled each other out resulting in the birth of Meg. She also tells Meg to smoke and drink A LOT during pregnancy to have a miscarriage but don't stop halfway through or you'll end up with Chris. Chris was also said to be the result of a broken condom, the resulting lawsuit used to pay for the Griffin's house. Her one-year old baby, Stewie, has an intent on killing her which could be the result of Lois' pot smoking during that pregnancy. Lois and Meg's relationship is complicated. Lois tends to be ive yet destructive at the same time. Often, Lois shows little to no emotion in emotional situations. Meg has often asked her for emotional where Lois simply hands her some pills, a book and leaves the room.Lois has often been implied to be bisexual. In one episode, it's revealed that she had a lesbian fling with her college roommate, Naomi. Lois shares a kiss with one of Meg's friends to prove that Meg isn't a lesbian. When Cleveland asks Lois and Bonnie to make out, they sit awkwardly for 5 seconds before ionately kissing; shocking Quagmire, Joe, Brian and Peter and pleasing Cleveland.Lois has had relationships with other men before Peter usually involving 80's rock band ; most notably Gene Simmons from KISS which Peter was proud of.
