Linda and Paul are scheduled to be ed in Holy Matrimony in just a few days time. Linda is everything Paul should want in a wife. A beauty from a wealthy family -- her scary father happens to be Paul's scary boss -- marrying her is his ticket to a better life than the working-class niche he grew up in . . . which his parents still happily occupy. Besides, he thinks he's in love with her, despite the fact she is already making decisions for him in particular and for them as a couple in general.
