Alec is introduced as Max's breeding partner at Manticore in the premiere of Season Two, a role vehemently denied by Max. When Manticore is destroyed, Alec escapes to the outside world. A genetically enhanced super-soldier (designation X5-494), Alec is a rogue in the mold of Han Solo or Gambit. He is the identical twin of Ben, a psychotic Manticore escapee whom Max fought and was eventually forced to kill after he began killing people in Season One. Alec boxes in the ring as Monty Cora , and when he quits and s Jam Pony Express, his status as a boxer earns him first iration and then a special place in the somewhat strange mind of Normal.
